Dr. Amita Joshi is a Pharmacy graduate with specialization in Pharmaceutics from UIPS, Punjab University, Chandigarh and a doctorate degree from Nirma University, Ahmedabad. Dr. Joshi was previously working with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Gurgaon and Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, Ahmedabad. Dr. Joshi is currently working as Scientist-B in the Dept. of Pharmaceutics at B. V. Patel {PERD Centre, Ahmedabad. Dr. Joshi has been recipient of Gandhian Young Technology Innovation (GYTI) Award, India for her innovative work on novel formulation development for the better management of HIV. Her area of research includes- Nanoformulations of infectious diseases like, HIV and TB, Application of QbD for formulation development, Pelletization technique, Novel Topical formulation for photoprotective agents.
