Analytical department is well equipped with state -of -art high end instruments like LC/MS/MS, HPLC, Preparative and semi-preparative HPLC, deferential scanning calorimeter etc. Department also serves as central instrumentation facility for the institute to cater the analytical need of all other departments. It also undertake industry projects for method development and quantitative and qualitative analysis. The research activities of the department includes: impurity profiling, pharmacokinetic studies, stress degradation studies, analysis of pro-drug and its metabolites, bioanalytical method development and validation of combination drug.

Department also conducts hand on training programs and crash courses in need based analytical instruments.
